As our wild salmon collapse the Minister of Fisheries is in Norway at the Aqua Nor fish farm trade show, with a large delegation promoting the coasts of Canada as a great place for MORE fish farms. Fish farms have been shown scientifically to contribute to the collapse of wild salmon. If you think the Norwegians need to hear from more than the Minister here are some email addresses:
The royal palace of Norway: post@slottet.no
The Norwegian Fisheries Minister, Helga Pedersen:

The Norwegian Prime Minister: postmottak@smk.dep.no
Canadian Minister of Fisheries: Min@dfo-mpo.gc.ca

Hello
The absolutely most important thing anyone can do on this issue is simply to make certain that you are heard. The Federal and Provincial governments are trying to figure out how to divvy up the industry in the wake of our court action. They are doing this behind closed doors. They need to know we are watching them.
We need 100,000 signatures on the letter on this site, inform your contacts about this opportunity to be heard
Write three Members of Parliament until they answer you. Tell them farm salmon must not trump BC’s wild salmon. Their addresses are at this website below:

Don’t pay for a farm salmon as you are encouraging foreign shareholders
Go out this summer and take in the sight of wild salmon migrating in a stream near you. Feel the power of these fish. They are the power cord between the Pacific Ocean and us.
More later……
